India continues to face critical mental health challenges due to the lack of accessible services, financial constraints, limited early identification, and widespread stigma. CMHM is bridging this gap by focusing on three foundational pillars:
Education, Support, and Advocacy. Through these pillars, CMHM offers holistic care to children, youth, and families facing emotional and behavioural issues.
Core Services Provided by CMHM
CMHM supports individuals with mental health challenges by covering the cost of medicines and medical treatment, especially for those unable to afford care.
- • Counselling and Medical Intervention
Individuals suffering from psychological distress are offered counselling services, along with professional medical care, ensuring integrated mental health support.
CMHM partners with local institutions and medical professionals to facilitate quality treatment for people who lack financial means.
For students from families affected by mental illness, CMHM offers:
- o School supplies and tuition
- o Transportation assistance
- o Nutritional support
- This ensures that mental health does not become a barrier to education and future opportunity.
Through generous donor support, CMHM builds houses for individuals with mental illnesses who have no place to call home—restoring dignity and providing a safe space for recovery.
Recognizing the acute shortage of mental health professionals in India, CMHM invests in training and certifying counsellors across the country.
